Online Horse Shows
www.myhorseshowonline.com, English/western classes, pay-back cash awards, new show 1st of every month..all entries by video.
The perfect horse show, where the best performance wins, is now online and accepting entries at www.myhorseshowonline.com
There is a new show on the first of every month. Entries must be received by midnight on the last day of each month. Winners receive “pay-back” cash and ribbons.
Open to any one and any horse, MyHorseShowOnline.com let’s you pick your class, video your performance, and then submit your ride for online “no politics” judging. It’s your chance to shine. Fancy clothes, fancy equipment, silver and full-color ads in magazines won’t score points…the professional judges decide winners on “performance” only.
Changing the emphasis from “what money can buy to rewarding good horsemanship and horses”, MyHorseShowOnline.com puts a stop to expensive travel, high entry fees, stall fees, ground fees, Coggins tests and the need for “phony false tails”.
Classes include: Lead-Line (for riders 8 and under), Walk-Trot (all ages), Western Pleasure (curb bit), Western Pleasure (snaffle or hackamore), Hunter Under Saddle, Western Horsemanship (pattern class) English Horsemanship (pattern class) Pony Western Pleasure (ponies only) Pony English Pleasure (ponies only) Hunter Hack (rail work and two jumps of 2’6”) Reining (pattern class), Showmanship (pattern), Hunter in Hand (pattern), and Lunge-Line. Class entry fee is $15 per class.
Entries are made online. Once the entry is accepted, the participant will receive by e-mail a number assigned to the rider and classes entered along with appropriate “patterns” or “riding instructions.” The participant then videos each class performance and loads the video to an online video web hosting service, such as YouTube or PhotoBucket.
The videos can range from 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. (Complete entry and participation rules, plus video tips and requirements are found on the website: MyHorseShowOnline.com)
A rider may enter as often and as many classes as desired.
A new show begins on the first of each month and closes on the last day of the month. Winners will be announced online, and the winning videos will be available for viewing at MyHorseShowOnline.com by the 15th of each month. Prizes will be sent directly to the winners by US mail. There will be year-end high point awards.
A sample video of a western pleasure class may be seen on the website, www.myhorseshowonline.com along with how-to video tips, and class descriptions and procedures.
Participants certainly aren’t expected to make “professional” videos, but are cautioned to be sure the video shows the rider and performance clearly |
